Botanico, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Bob Flanders and Dabney Turley. Bob’s son, Jon Flanders was elected President of Botanico in 2014. Botanico is primarily a wholesale nursery that grows shade and ornamental trees and shrubs in both containers and field grown B&B. Our company operates on approximately 500 acres spread among five locations and most of our employees live in the Warren and DeKalb County areas. We sell nursery and landscape grade plants to customers in the Northeastern, Midwestern, and Southeastern United State in addition to international exports to Canada and China. Our Story
We started as a small dirt farm nursery with a couple of family members and a hand full of loyal farm hands. Our goal was to produce beautiful plant material for landscapers and garden centers. It was important to us that we hand pick and tag each order based on the customers specific needs and preferences, to the best of our ability. We believe this is what set us apart. During our early years we produced only ball & burlap material.

Over time, we have grown into a prosperous wholesale nursery that now offers both ball & burlap and container material in a variety of sizes. We have also grown into two crews of loyal farm hands, both of which still hold many of our original employees. We are thankful to have such wonderful customers and great employees who work hard to help us continue to meet our original goal of producing beautiful plant material. And yes, we still still hand pick and tag each order based on the customers specific needs and preferences, to the best of our ability!
